Welcome to the new USHP website

New Website

Welcome to the new website for the Utah Society of Health-System Pharmacists.  We have move platforms to integrate an association membership software program with the website.  Current active USHP members have had their information transferred and account set up.  If you are a past USHP member, you can create a new account and enter your information.

For current USHP members, if you have not logged into the new website, you need to reset your password.  This can be done at the password reset page, using the e-mail registered with your account.  Once you create a new password, you can update your account.   If you have problems or cannot log-in, please e-mail webmaster@ushp.org.

2016 Resident CE Series

The 2016 Resident CE Series has now finished.   The Attendance Form & Statement of Credit Information form is due immediately.  If you have not registered and paid, this must be done no later than April 13 for CE credit to be applied.

New Membership Options

USHP now has two different membership cycles to fit your needs.

One cycle is August to July.  This allows you to join prior to the annual meeting and have membership good all the way through the resident CE program in the spring.  This also works well for Residents and Students as it is aligned with the training year.

The other cycle is from February to January.  This allows you to join before the Winter Meeting or Resident CE and be good through the annual meeting.  This is also offset so you don't have to renew over the Holidays.

Poison Control Center warning on infant acetaminophen drops.

In 2011, most manufacturers stopped producing more concentrated drop formulations of acetaminophen. Unfortunately, these can still be found in some stores and on patient's shelves at home.

The Utah Poison Center encourages parents and caregivers to dispose of these items to prevent dosing errors.  For more information, read their press release.
